Carrie Savage specializes in complex civil and business litigation. Carrie graduated in 2014 from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where she was Note and Comment Editor of the Oklahoma Law Review. After law school, Carrie served as a law clerk to the Honorable Mary Beck Briscoe at the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and as a law clerk to the Honorable Joe Heaton at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.
Significant Representations
Tried fraudulent transfer action and obtained multi million judgment in favor of Hong Kong lending institution.
Defended Am Law 100 firm in malpractice action brought by a federal receiver.
Conducted internal investigations for various companies and board committees on matters involving auditing issues, whistleblower complaints, and claims of sexual assault.
Represented Fortune 500 Company in getting class action claim dismissed during preliminary stages of litigation.
Obtained $6.5 million judgment for Hong Kong lending institution on breach of contract claim related to aviation loan. In subsequent proceedings before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, successfully defended judgment and secured ruling requiring borrower to reimburse lender’s attorney fees.
On a pro bono basis, prosecuted copyright infringement on behalf of author to end misappropriation of book character.
On a pro bono basis, defended charges of second-degree murder and armed criminal action.
