Quinton Lucas represented clients in business disputes and government investigations in state and federal courts throughout the country. He has previously represented a U.S.-based development group involved in a Costa Rican property dispute, corporate executives under federal investigation, and major national law firms in legal malpractice actions.

Mr. Lucas is also actively involved in the community, and was recently elected as Mayor of Kansas City, Missouri. Mayor Lucas is the Chair of the City Council Housing Committee where he works with issues related to affordable housing and the future of the city’s housing policy.  Mayor Lucas is also a member of the Planning, Zoning and Economic Development, the Airport Transportation and Infrastructure and Neighborhoods and Public Safety committees.

Prior to being elected, Mayor Lucas taught a number of courses on securities regulation and contract law at the University of Kansas School of Law.
